The search for a new apartment turns, from the very beginning, into a fantastical journey through temporal vortices that break down the boundary between the real and the dreamlike. Domestic forests and oceans kept under lock and key. The search for a home becomes a centrifuge: everything comes out overturned and wrinkled. Time, in the end, reveals itself as the quintessence of this turbulent quest.
I began working on this story in 2019, and in 2020 I finished drawing the first two chapters in order to submit it to several publishers. I never received any response to those emails, and today, in 2026, my way of drawing has changed significantly. Nevertheless, I have decided to publish these first pages here without modifying them further, and to continue telling this story using a different visual language. I will try to remain consistent in my work and to complete the few chapters of this comic by the end of 2026. Updates will be shared via newsletter and social media.
